Elizabeths Annes & Purity Baby Shampoo

Hello Pretty Ladies

So I finished my second Youtube Video on my current Beauty Favourites and I actually wanted to give you guys better information about Elizabath Annes Baby Shampoo that I have recently been using as facewash.

I am absolutley obsessed with this Baby shampoo. As I have said so many times in my previous posts, I have very oily and sensitive skin, I always have to moisturize because I find when ever I wash my face it tends to feel so tight but then gets extremely oily after a while.

Because this product is formulated specifically for babies it is very gentle on skin and also soap free so if you get some in your eye while washing your face it doesnt burn. It doesnt irritate skin but instead it leaves the skin soft, moisturized and clean.
I dont have to use as much moisterizer anymore because this baby shampoo is so moisterizing already.

I love the fact that this Shampoo doesnt foam because this makes it more gentle on the skin because with normal facewashes they tend to contain a type of cleaning agent that stips away any oil from your skin, leaving it without its protective layer of oil. You actually need some oil to be left on your skin for moisture. If you stip all the oils from you skin it will cause more breakouts because your skin is then producing more oil than it should to try and moisterize the skin again.

So once I Started using Elizabeths Annes Baby Shampoo I didnt get half as much breakouts and my
skin is feeling soft and moisterized.
I would recommend this product to anyone willing to give it a try.

Please check out my Youtube Video and feel free to leave me a comment and subscribe.

I hope this helps

Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation Review!!!

Hello Lovely Ladies.

The product I would like to talk about today is Rimmel London Lasting finish 25 Hour Foundation.

As I have said in many of my previous posts I have always been a big fan of Almay skin stays clean foundation but I thought I would give another foundation a try since they are no longer making "Almay Skin Stays Clean Foundation".

The Rimmel London 25 hour foundation is fantastic, obviously it does not last for 25 hours but it does last up to about 8 - 10 hours and the coverage is great, I would say it give a medium to full coverage and once the foundation has dried it gives a matte look which is perfect for people with oily skin. The foundation is very thick which I like as well because you apply a little and it goes a long way. It spreads easily throughout your whole face. It aslo lasts in humidity and heat which is perfect for those boiling hot summer day.

When the foundation is applied it feels very light and airy. I love the fact that it has a pump to pump out the foundation instead of squeezing a tube, this helps to use less foundation and not waist and it has a little fragrance which I really enjoy.

I have always been hesitant to try other foudnations because Almay has always been such an amazing product but all I can say is that I love this product and I will definatley be buying it again.

Hope this helps

8 Beauty Items you should never run out of.

Hello Ladies :)

Well all run out of Beauty products but there are 8 items that I make sure I always top up on if they are running low. These are the products and items that I literally use every single day and always make sure that I have in my handbag.

1. Ear Buds: These can be used for literally anything, from removing makeup, smudged eyeliner or it can be used to clean up your nails once you have painted them.

2. Vaseline: This product I use every day. It can be used to moisterize your lips, rub on your nails for moisture or you can apply it to your eyelids for a glowing look.

3. Black Mascara: Mascara is a must. It just glams up your face, or you can use it to darken your eyebrows of you dont have a brow pencil near by. Please make sure that you discard your mascara after 3 months because if you keep it and use it after it has started smelling and clumping you can get an eye infection due to the bacteria buildup.

4. A vail of perfume: Always keep a small bottle of perfume in your handbag. A spritz of perfume after a day at work will freshen you up if you are going out straight after work. I personally think every woman should have a perfume that compliments her. To me it acts like your signature smell. There is nothing more stunning than a girl that smells classy and beautiful.

5. Wet Wipes: Wet Wipes are so handy when you are in a rush and wanting to take your makeup off to reapply it again. They are perfect for those nights when you get home really late and you dont feel like washing your face, you can just wipe away your makeup, apply moisterizer and go to bed. Wet wipes have an expiry date so please use before they go off.

6. Saftey Pins: These are a must have, just incase your bra snaps, broken jewellery or any kind of emergency. I always keep different sizes in all my handbags because I am forever using different handbags for different occasions. Always be prepared for anything that could happen.

7. Sunblock: If you have those days where you do something you didnt plan on doing like going to the beach in the middle of the day or going for a walk on your lunch break then make sure you always have sunscreen in your hand bag. You dont want to get sunburnt, suffer from skin discolouration or anything harmful that the sun can do to your skin.

8. Baby Powder: Baby Powder has so many uses. It can be used to sooth sunburn, razor burn and it can be used as a dry shampoo. The great thing about Baby Powder is that it never expires so you can stock up without worrying about it expiring.

Be prepared ladies, you never know what life can through at us.
Hope this helps

Exfoliating Tips for smooth and soft skin.

Hello Beautiful ladies :)

Exfoliating is a very important part of a persons regime not only for your face but also for your body.

There are many benefits from exfoliating like getting rid of dead, dull and flaky skin cells which will allow new skin cells to surface. This will give your skin a stunning glow but it also allows the products you use to be better absorbed into your skin and work to their full potential.
Exfoliating helps fight damage done by the sun and minimise fine lines and blemishes.

I would recommend choosing a scrub that has round beeds instead of the rough kernels because those can harm your skin because they are to rough. You want to find a scrub that works perfectly for your skin. I perfer using fruity type of exfoliater because when they are used, they naturally dissolve dead skin cells without harming or aggravating your skin.

When you exfoliate your body, you want to use coarser scrubs. This will help with removing rough skin and in-grown hairs. It will also give your skin a soft, smooth feel. I recommend moisterizing after you exfoliate just to make sure your body has gotten that extra nourishment. Alot of people tend to forget about their knees, ankles and elbows so you need to make sure you give those areas extra attention.

Alot of people never know when to exfoliate their skin. Some do it every day, others exfoliate once a week but I would recommend exfoliating twice a week. This will give your skin time to breath and repair itself.

I use Garnier Light exfoliating scrub because I have sensitive skin and this product works perfectly for me. Its gentle but it also does the job. I would recommend this product for anyone that is willing to give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

My Current Skin Care Favourites :)

Hello Pretty Ladies :)

Since my previous post was about skin care I thought I would share with you some of my favourite skin care products that I use on a daily basis.

In the morning and evenings I wash my face with Garnier Even and Matte face wash. This product works perfectly for me because I have very sensitive skin. As I have said in previous posts I had skin problems in High School and I was left with minor scars. This face wash contains extracts of lemon which helps lighten any scars or blemishes.

After I have washed my face I use Garnier Even and Matte Toner. Each time I use it, it makes my skin feel softer and it helps with lightening my minor scaring.

After I have used toner I apply Nivea Beauty Radiant Boosting Moisturizer. I absolutley love this product. Its perfect for my skin, it rubs in really well and it gives my skin a great boost. I have been using this product for about a month now and I have noticed that I actually use less foundation because it acts like a primer. It basically livens up dull looking skin.

I apply a Honey Face Mask once a week, it is suitable for any skin type. I apply the raw honey all over my face and leave it on for about 10 - 15 minutes. I remove it with warm water and then apply moisturizer. It acts as an anti-bacterial and Anti-fungal agent which helps speed up the healing process of acne. It soaks up impurities and helps detoxify your skin. It naturally cleans your skin and leaves it super soft.

Enjoy Ladies :)

6 Skin Tips for Girls in their 20s

Hello Beautiful Ladies :)

I thought I would give you a few tips for your skin if you are in your 20s because a lot of girls think that their skin is pretty great right now. They just get a mild breakout here and there but you need to also think about the damage day to day life can do to your skin. It is never to soon to start taking care of your skin and preventing furture problems.

1. Always cleanse your face in the morning. This will remove any dirt and oil on your skin and prevent any breakouts. Make sure that you use a gentle cleanser that wont be to harsh on your skin.

2. Invest in a good eye cream. Eyes tend to show the first signs of aging so I would recommend using an eye cream with caffeine in it to prevent morning puffiness. Also look for a product with antioxidants in it that slow down aging.

3. Make sure you use a moisterzier with SPF in to.This is very important because the sun can really damage your skin as well as cause age spots. Invest in a good moisterzier with a decent amount of SPF in it.

4. Always make sure that you remove your makeup up night, no excuses. Makeup can clog your pores and lead to acne break outs.

5. Cleanse at night. You skin does most if its repair work at night so it is very important to make sure your skin is 100% clean.

6. Exfoliate a few times a week. This will get ride of any dead skin cells and will give your skin a soft feeling and glowing look.

Hope this helps
Enjoy

Makeup Tip #4 - How to do your Makeup Flawlessly

Hi Lovely Ladies :)

This is how you can do your makeup flawlessly.

1. First wash your face. Washing your face will make your skin look clean and it will be easier to apply your foundation.

2. Always moisturize your skin. Make sure that you pick a moisturizer that fits your skin type.

3. Add a foundation primer. Primers are used to set makeup so that they last longer and I personally recommend them because it just helps keep your makeup in place for most of the day.

4. Choose your foundation. Spread the foundation all over your face and blend it in. Remember that foundation is meant to even out your skin tone so dont pluck it on.This is a product I personally think you should spend money on. You want a foundation that is the perfect shade for you.

5. Apply concealer to any pimples, redness or blemishes. Make sure that you apply concealer to the inner conrners of your eyes because they are normally darker than the rest of your eye. One thing to remember about concealer is never rub it in. Dab it in.

6. To give yourself a matte look after applying foundation and concealer set it with a loose powder.

7. Now to apply your bronzer or blush. Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks. Apply bronzer to you forehead, nose and cheeks. This will give your face an even bronzed look. Make sure that you choose a bronzer that is the perfect shade for your skin because you do not want to look like a clown.

8. Apply your eye makeup.  Apply an eye shadow primer to your eye lids so that your eye shadow can last throughout the whole day. Curl your lashes with a eyelash curler. This will give your lashes more volume when you apply mascara. Apply your eyeliner the way you like it. Rememeber that eyeliner looks great when used in many different ways so feel free to experiment with this.

9. Apply lip balm to your lips to moisturize them. If you like you can apply a lip liner and then a lipstick the same colour as you lipliner. This will make your lips look larger and soft.

Tip:Apply eye shadow before applying eyeliner.

Hope this helps
Enjoy :)

5 more Beauty Tips that I Love :)

Hi Pretty Ladies :)

I wanted to share 5 more of my favourite Beauty Tips with you.

1.No more Makeup Sponges: Yes sponges help you apply your foundation but they soak up more foundation that what ends up on your face. so inturn you have to keep buying new sponges and foundation. Rather start using a Foundation brush. It uses less foundation and it helps with more even and precise application than a sponge.

2. Use old mascara wands: Dont discard your old Mascara wands, rather clean them and use them as a brow brush instead.

3. Avoid chipped nail polish: There is nothing worse than a girl having chipped nails polish. You either have nail polish on or you dont. You may think no one will notice but trust me someone will notice.

4. Remove your nail polish: One thing I always run out of is Nail Polish remover so if you really need to remove chipped nail polish just apply a top coat to your nail polish and quickly remove it with a cotton bud.

5. Perfume: Do not douse yourself with perfume. Just because you cannot smell it on yourself does not mean other cannot smell it on you. Just spray or dab perfume to selected areas like, your throat, wrists and behind your earlobes and you ready to go.

Hope you enjoy Ladies :)

What is the shelf life of your Makeup?

Hi Lovely Ladies :)

We all have that makeup that we never use but for some reason we still keep them in our draws thinking that we will need them one day but we never do actually use them.
This is just a quick guide on the shelf life of just some Beauty Products.

1. Concealer: Last up to 12 Months.

2. Powder: Last up to 2 years.

3. Pencil Eyeliner: Pencil eyeliner needs to be sharpened reguarly and it can last up to 3 years.

4. Eyeshadow: This product can last up to 3 years. Some makeup artists actually use eyeshadow as a eyeliner. You will need a flat eyeliner brush, make the brush a little damp and dip it in dark eyeshadow and wiggle the brush onto your lash line like you are applying normal eyeliner.

5. Makeup Brushes: Wash your makeup brushes every 2 - 3 months.

6. Makeup sponges: Wash your sponges weekly and discard them every month.

7. Lip Liner: Lasts up to 3 years. I personally perfer the pencil lip liner instead of the roll up lip liner because they tend to break easily while you are applying it.

8.Mascara: This product expires the fastest. It only last up to 4 months and then you need to replace it.

9. Nail Polish: This product last up to 12 months depending on the quality.

10. Lipstick: Some people say it lasts up to 2 years and others say 4 years but one great tip is if you put your lipstick in a refrigerater, it will last longer.

Hope this helps ladies :)
Xoxo

5 Beauty Tips that I Love :)

Hi Ladies :)

I have quit a few beauty tricks that I love but I just picked 5 for now to share with all you stunning ladies.

1. Shave with conditioner: If you have run out of shaving cream, the next best thing is conditioner. Apply a lot of conditioner to your legs instead of soap. The conditioner will soften the hair on your legs and make it easier for you to shave and it will leave your skin feeling soft and silky.

2. Know your Foundation Shade: When trying to find the perfect foundation shade for your skin, test it on your jaw line and make sure that you are standing in natural light. Standing in natural light will ensure that you choose a foundation shade that isnt different to your neck.

3.Tweezing: Before tweezing your eyebrows, make sure that you soften the skin with a cotton wool ball soaked in warm water. When you tweeze make sure you tweeze the hairs in the direction they are growing.

4.Do not pump your mascara: This is a mistake I made when I was younger. Never pump your mascara (moving the mascara wand up and down really fast) This allows air to enter the tube and dries out your mascara.

5:Clean your Makeup Brushes: Always make sure that you clean your Makeup Brushes to avoid a build up of makeup and bacteria. You can either use bush cleaner or you can use shampoo and conditioner to wash your burshes. If your brushes are clean, this will ensure that you get a even and smooth application each time.

I hope you enjoy ladies

Quick and Easy Nail Wraps - No more nail polish :)

Hello Lovely Ladies :)

I went shopping this weekend and while I was browsing in the Makeup section I came across "Nail Wraps". They are these neat new stickers thats you stick on your finger nails and they look like you have painted your own nails.

These Nail wraps are a new way to design your nails without using nail polish. They can last up tp 2 weeks. They are safe to use and they dont damage your nails like other nail enhancements.
These nail wraps also help protect your nails if you are prone to chipping, falking and breaking. They can be applied to broken or damaged nails to prevent further damage.

The nail wraps come in a bunch of great designs such as metallic or even animal print. They are perfect for those days where you dont feel like painting your nails but want quick and easy stunning nails...

I personally love these new nail wraps because I hardly ever have time to paint my nails but now it literally takes me 10 minutes to put on these nail wraps in different designs and im ready to go with stunning, funky looking nails.

Try them out ladies, you wont be disappointed :)
