4 Makeup Mistakes to Avoid.

Hello Ladies :)

We have all made makeup mishaps that we would much rather forget. So here are 4 rules to stick by to make sure that it never happens again.

1. Mismatched Foundation: When choosing a foundation make sure you know what skin type you have. For example, if you have oily to combination skin make sure you choose a foundation that is oil free or not oil based because if you don't, by midday you will be looking like a full on grease mess. In summer I highly recommend avoiding heavy makeup. Rather switch to a BB cream as this is very light on the skin but still gives great coverage. Always make sure that you apply your foundation in natural light. This will help you make sure that the color of the foundation is perfect for you and you can avoid streaking or blotching.

2. Lumpy Lashes: First things first toss out any Mascara that is older than 3 months. Every time we use mascara we expose the wand to air, germs and dust and this can lead to spoiling the mascara or even an eye infection if you are not careful. When applying Mascara make sure you wiggle the wand a bit to get rid of any excess product. This will make sure you get an evenly spread application to you eyelashes. If you are planning on applying more than 1 coat of mascara make sure that you apply the second coat before the first dries to avoid lumpy lashes.

3. White Eye shadow below the eyebrow: When you watch makeup tutorial you always see the makeup artist applying a highlighter under the eyebrow. This just completes the look but one thing many girls are doing is applying a frosty white eye shadow under the brow. This is just going to make you look like a clown. Ladies make sure you just use a highlighter and not actual white eye shadow.

4. Over-plucked eyebrows: Ladies I cannot mention this enough. Avoid over plucking your eyebrows. Rather just neaten your brows up by removing fine hairs that grow outside the area. If you want a more defined look try using a brow kit to get a more polished and natural look.

So ladies these are just a few mistakes you should avoid. Remember, makeup is there to enhance your beauty not to take away form it.

Have a great day
xoxo
