How to treat Acne prone skin!

Hello Beauties :)
I have been dealing with Mild to Moderate acne since I was a teenager and even though its not half as bad now because of me becoming more healthy and I watch what I eat. I want to share with you guys how to look after your skin if you are acne prone.

Lets get started:

1. If you have acne prone skin make sure that you wash your face twice daily. Once in the morning and in the evening before you go to bed because during the day your skin collects oil, dirt and other impurities that can clog your pores and cause breakouts.

2. Make sure you moisturize. This is so important because when you wash your face daily this pulls away some of the natural oils so moisturizing your skin after washing it is very important.

3. Do not pick at blemishes or pimples. Pimples are filled with bacteria so when you squeeze them you are spreading the bacteria and this can cause breakouts every where else on your face so I suggest you keep your hands away from you acne prone skin.

4. Make sure that you choose the correct products for your skin. You need to take your skin type into consideration. Go for products that are made for acne prone skin. Make sure you read labels before you just take a product. I prefer natural facial products and I personally recommend getting a product with natural ingredients in it.

5.We are what we eat. This is so true ladies. We need to think before just putting things into our bodies. Make wise food choices and make sure you follow a balanced diet. I noticed a dramatic change when I cut out wheat and dairy from my diet. I also started eating more veg and fruits and this made my skin look more healthy and radiant despite the minor acne.

6. I cant stress this enough ladies. Drinking water is so important not only for our skin but the function of our body. Drinking water or lemon water helps flush out toxins which in turn clears skin. There are endless benefits to drinking water/lemon water.

7.  If you have acne prone skin make sure that you use oil free makeup. If you are using oil based makeup this could be the cause of your breakouts. Make sure you find makeup that is suitable to your skin type.

8.If you have oily/greasy hair try and keep it away from your face because the oil from your hair could rub off on your skin, clog your pores and cause breakouts. I wear my hair up at night in a high bun to keep my hair away from my face.

These are just a few tips ladies and there are so many more. Find the ones that work for you
I hope this helps ladies

Health: Benefits of drinking Lemon Water

Good Evening Beauties :)

I have always been very health conscious and I am always trying to eat healthy because your health does play a big part in the appearance of your skin and body.
So I wanted to talk about the benefits of drinking lemon water. I drink lemon water everyday and personally I think it is so much better than drinking plain water.

Here are the benefits of drinking Lemon Water:

1. Drinking Lemon water gives your immune system a boost. Lemon juice is full of vitamin C. When you are sick the vitamin C is the first to go down so drinking Lemon juice is why we should try and drink lemon water daily.

2. Lemon water helps flush out toxins which helps stimulate your liver and its function.

3. Lemon water freshens your breath and it also helps relieve toothache. Citric acid can erode tooth enamel so I would suggest brushing your teeth before drinking lemon juice.

4. Lemon water keeps your skin blemish free, it decreases the appearance of blemishes on your skin and it prevents wrinkles. It can be applied directly to scars and blemishes and this will also maintain your skins radiance. I actually use lemon juice as a toner and I have seen such a difference in my skin tone and the minor scars and blemishes have been lightened.

5. Lemon Water helps fight food cravings which in turn helps with weight loss.

6. Replacing your morning coffee with lemon juice will give you a big energy boost. It also helps reduce stress and anxiety.

7. Lemon juice helps you to cut out caffeine which makes you feel fresh and you don't have that afternoon crash from a caffeine high. I didn't believe it until I tried it and I no longer drink coffee which my nerves are thankful for.

I encourage everyone to get healthy. You will feel so refreshed and you will notice a difference in your skin tone and body appearance.

5 Beauty Tips every girl should know :)

Good Morning Muffins

I have a few Beauty Tips that I would like to share with you lovely ladies. These are tips that I practically live by.

1.  Sunscreen that claims to be waterproof and lasts the whole day is not true at all. I know from experience. I would apply sunscreen in the morning and by 12pm I would be burnt and red. I would suggest applying sunscreen every 2 - 3 hours if you are going to be in the sun most of the day.

2. If you have greasy hair that needs to be washed every day, avoid conditioning your hair from the roots. This will only make your hair more oily and you will have to wash it a few times before it doesn't look greasy once dried.

3.If you are afraid to wear bright red lipstick like I am I would suggest applying it but then blotting it so it looks more like a stain. This will last longer and look more natural and sheek.

4. To me, foundation should never be heavily applied. It should look natural but everyone is different some people like it applied thick others don't. My personal opinion is that it should look natural. To do this I would recommend applying your foundation with a foundation brush and then rubbing it in after with your hands. This will press the foundation into your skin to give it a more natural look.

5. To smudge proof your makeup for that night out, take a blotting tissue to remove any excess oil around your eyes, then apply your makeup. This will stop your makeup not only from smudging but also from running down your face.

Well ladies these are just some of my Beauty Tips. I have many more and I will be sharing a lot more with you.
I hope this helps and I hope you are all having an amazing day no matter were you are.
Lots of Love

How to reduce the appearance of stretch marks naturally.

Good Evening Lovelies :)

So I had a few people asking for natural ways to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, so I did a little research and I wanted to share with you what I have found.
I personally prefer and like the natural remedies apposed to anything else but we are all different.

So lets get started:

Potato Juice: Potato Juice contains vitamins and minerals that help restore skin cells. What you need to do it cut a potato in half and rub the potato on the stretch marks, leave it to dry and after about 30min you can rinse it off with lukewarm water. You need to do this as often as possible to see a difference.

Sugar: Natural white sugar is a great home remedy to exfoliate your skin. Mix a table spoon of sugar, Almond oil and Lemon Juice and rub this on the stretch mark for 10 min daily before getting into the shower and this should slowly make the stretch marks lighter and lighter.

Lemon Juice: Lemon juice is naturally acidic which helps heal, scars, acne and even stretch marks. Rub lemon juice into the stretch marks in a circular motion, leave for 10 min so that it can sink into your skin before rinsing it off.

Water: Keep your body well hydrated. This will help protect your skin from many problems. Well hydrated skin will help with detoxification of skin pores and this restores the elasticity which will help prevent stretch marks as well as getting rid of them.

All of us ladies should try and drink 10 glasses of water a day to keep our skin hydrated and this will not only aid in preventing stretch marks but also flush our systems and keep out skin looking fresh and radiant.

These are just a few that I really liked.
I hope this helps Ladies :)
Much love

I hope everyone is having an amazing day no matter were you are!

How to slowly reduce the appearance of Scars/Blemishes

Hello Muffins :)

Finally I have found some time to write a new post. I have been so busy lately I don't have much free time but I wanted to do a quick blog post on something that I think really does bother not only us girls but also some guys out there which is scaring on the face. May it be blemishes, acne scars or anything else it does play on our minds and makes us more self conscious when we are not wearing makeup. I know that I am very self conscious of my skin if I do not have makeup on because I do have some scaring and blemishes.

However, there is a natural way to slowly reduce these scars and blemishes naturally.

Use lemon Juice: This is a natural bleach and it will lighten the scars or blemishes on your skin

Rose-hip Seed Oil: This is a special kind of oil that is actually used in many cosmetics to reduce the appearance of scars. Just rub it into your skin for 15 min daily and you will slowly see a difference.

Ice Cube: Rub an Ice Cube on the scar for 15 minutes twice daily. I have to warn you though it can be quit painful.

Tea Tree Oil: Apply Tea Tree oil to the skin daily for 30 minutes and it will slowly diminish the scars and blemishes.

Potatoes: Potatoes are excellent for removing scars because they contain minerals like potassium and sulfur which held reduce scars.

The one home remedy that I use the most is using Lemon juice on my face. I find this works best for me and it helps even out skin tone so you have an even glow. All I do is apply lemon Juice to my skin for 15 minutes daily. I have started seeing slight results but the longer I do this I am sure I will see more results.

I hope all you lovelies are having an amazing day no matter where you are.
Love you all
Mwah!!!

Something nice for all you Beauties :)
