Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set Review

Good Morning Beauties :)

The product I want to talk about today is the Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set. I bought this product about 2 weeks ago and I wanted to use it for a couple of days before I give you my opinion on the product.

I have to say that I absolutely love this product. I have very light eyebrows that you can never really see unless they are filled in so both colors in the Essence eyebrow set are perfect for me. If I am going to work or just to the shops I will fill in my brows with the light colored shade because I just want a quick put together look. If I am going out that night I will use the dark brown shade for a more dramatic and defined look. This product is very pigmented so when I use the dark shade I only need to dab my brush once on the color and it basically fills in my whole brow.

I also bought the Essence Eyebrow pencil in shade Brown 02 to fill in the bottom of my eyebrows. This pencil goes perfectly with the color of my brows once I have filled them in with the dark brown. Once I have lined the top of my brows with a brush and filled them in, I basically just define my lower brow line with the pencil to make it more defined and natural. The pencil also has an eyebrow brush on the lid that helps you brush out you brows before you have filled them in to get better coverage.

Using both of these products together will give you an amazing eyebrow and it looks so natural. The eyebrow set comes with 3 stencils of brow shapes. I personally don't like these because my brows look nothing like the stencils so I don't use them but they may work for others. The shades are a matte/silky which I like very much.

The packaging is great. Its small, transparent and it fits perfectly into you bag. It keeps everything neat and tidy which is what we want.

I can see I wont need to by a new eyebrow stylist set for a long time because you don't need to use a lot in order to fill in your brows. I personally think this product is a good investment and something you need in your makeup kit.

Stay tuned for my YouTube Tutorial on how I fill in my Eyebrows with the Essence Eyebrow Stylist Kit.

XOXO
Lots of Love

How to treat Acne prone skin!

Hello Beauties :)
I have been dealing with Mild to Moderate acne since I was a teenager and even though its not half as bad now because of me becoming more healthy and I watch what I eat. I want to share with you guys how to look after your skin if you are acne prone.

Lets get started:

1. If you have acne prone skin make sure that you wash your face twice daily. Once in the morning and in the evening before you go to bed because during the day your skin collects oil, dirt and other impurities that can clog your pores and cause breakouts.

2. Make sure you moisturize. This is so important because when you wash your face daily this pulls away some of the natural oils so moisturizing your skin after washing it is very important.

3. Do not pick at blemishes or pimples. Pimples are filled with bacteria so when you squeeze them you are spreading the bacteria and this can cause breakouts every where else on your face so I suggest you keep your hands away from you acne prone skin.

4. Make sure that you choose the correct products for your skin. You need to take your skin type into consideration. Go for products that are made for acne prone skin. Make sure you read labels before you just take a product. I prefer natural facial products and I personally recommend getting a product with natural ingredients in it.

5.We are what we eat. This is so true ladies. We need to think before just putting things into our bodies. Make wise food choices and make sure you follow a balanced diet. I noticed a dramatic change when I cut out wheat and dairy from my diet. I also started eating more veg and fruits and this made my skin look more healthy and radiant despite the minor acne.

6. I cant stress this enough ladies. Drinking water is so important not only for our skin but the function of our body. Drinking water or lemon water helps flush out toxins which in turn clears skin. There are endless benefits to drinking water/lemon water.

7.  If you have acne prone skin make sure that you use oil free makeup. If you are using oil based makeup this could be the cause of your breakouts. Make sure you find makeup that is suitable to your skin type.

8.If you have oily/greasy hair try and keep it away from your face because the oil from your hair could rub off on your skin, clog your pores and cause breakouts. I wear my hair up at night in a high bun to keep my hair away from my face.

These are just a few tips ladies and there are so many more. Find the ones that work for you
I hope this helps ladies

Health: Benefits of drinking Lemon Water

Good Evening Beauties :)

I have always been very health conscious and I am always trying to eat healthy because your health does play a big part in the appearance of your skin and body.
So I wanted to talk about the benefits of drinking lemon water. I drink lemon water everyday and personally I think it is so much better than drinking plain water.

Here are the benefits of drinking Lemon Water:

1. Drinking Lemon water gives your immune system a boost. Lemon juice is full of vitamin C. When you are sick the vitamin C is the first to go down so drinking Lemon juice is why we should try and drink lemon water daily.

2. Lemon water helps flush out toxins which helps stimulate your liver and its function.

3. Lemon water freshens your breath and it also helps relieve toothache. Citric acid can erode tooth enamel so I would suggest brushing your teeth before drinking lemon juice.

4. Lemon water keeps your skin blemish free, it decreases the appearance of blemishes on your skin and it prevents wrinkles. It can be applied directly to scars and blemishes and this will also maintain your skins radiance. I actually use lemon juice as a toner and I have seen such a difference in my skin tone and the minor scars and blemishes have been lightened.

5. Lemon Water helps fight food cravings which in turn helps with weight loss.

6. Replacing your morning coffee with lemon juice will give you a big energy boost. It also helps reduce stress and anxiety.

7. Lemon juice helps you to cut out caffeine which makes you feel fresh and you don't have that afternoon crash from a caffeine high. I didn't believe it until I tried it and I no longer drink coffee which my nerves are thankful for.

I encourage everyone to get healthy. You will feel so refreshed and you will notice a difference in your skin tone and body appearance.

5 Beauty Tips every girl should know :)

Good Morning Muffins

I have a few Beauty Tips that I would like to share with you lovely ladies. These are tips that I practically live by.

1.  Sunscreen that claims to be waterproof and lasts the whole day is not true at all. I know from experience. I would apply sunscreen in the morning and by 12pm I would be burnt and red. I would suggest applying sunscreen every 2 - 3 hours if you are going to be in the sun most of the day.

2. If you have greasy hair that needs to be washed every day, avoid conditioning your hair from the roots. This will only make your hair more oily and you will have to wash it a few times before it doesn't look greasy once dried.

3.If you are afraid to wear bright red lipstick like I am I would suggest applying it but then blotting it so it looks more like a stain. This will last longer and look more natural and sheek.

4. To me, foundation should never be heavily applied. It should look natural but everyone is different some people like it applied thick others don't. My personal opinion is that it should look natural. To do this I would recommend applying your foundation with a foundation brush and then rubbing it in after with your hands. This will press the foundation into your skin to give it a more natural look.

5. To smudge proof your makeup for that night out, take a blotting tissue to remove any excess oil around your eyes, then apply your makeup. This will stop your makeup not only from smudging but also from running down your face.

Well ladies these are just some of my Beauty Tips. I have many more and I will be sharing a lot more with you.
I hope this helps and I hope you are all having an amazing day no matter were you are.
Lots of Love

How to reduce the appearance of stretch marks naturally.

Good Evening Lovelies :)

So I had a few people asking for natural ways to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, so I did a little research and I wanted to share with you what I have found.
I personally prefer and like the natural remedies apposed to anything else but we are all different.

So lets get started:

Potato Juice: Potato Juice contains vitamins and minerals that help restore skin cells. What you need to do it cut a potato in half and rub the potato on the stretch marks, leave it to dry and after about 30min you can rinse it off with lukewarm water. You need to do this as often as possible to see a difference.

Sugar: Natural white sugar is a great home remedy to exfoliate your skin. Mix a table spoon of sugar, Almond oil and Lemon Juice and rub this on the stretch mark for 10 min daily before getting into the shower and this should slowly make the stretch marks lighter and lighter.

Lemon Juice: Lemon juice is naturally acidic which helps heal, scars, acne and even stretch marks. Rub lemon juice into the stretch marks in a circular motion, leave for 10 min so that it can sink into your skin before rinsing it off.

Water: Keep your body well hydrated. This will help protect your skin from many problems. Well hydrated skin will help with detoxification of skin pores and this restores the elasticity which will help prevent stretch marks as well as getting rid of them.

All of us ladies should try and drink 10 glasses of water a day to keep our skin hydrated and this will not only aid in preventing stretch marks but also flush our systems and keep out skin looking fresh and radiant.

These are just a few that I really liked.
I hope this helps Ladies :)
Much love

I hope everyone is having an amazing day no matter were you are!

How to slowly reduce the appearance of Scars/Blemishes

Hello Muffins :)

Finally I have found some time to write a new post. I have been so busy lately I don't have much free time but I wanted to do a quick blog post on something that I think really does bother not only us girls but also some guys out there which is scaring on the face. May it be blemishes, acne scars or anything else it does play on our minds and makes us more self conscious when we are not wearing makeup. I know that I am very self conscious of my skin if I do not have makeup on because I do have some scaring and blemishes.

However, there is a natural way to slowly reduce these scars and blemishes naturally.

Use lemon Juice: This is a natural bleach and it will lighten the scars or blemishes on your skin

Rose-hip Seed Oil: This is a special kind of oil that is actually used in many cosmetics to reduce the appearance of scars. Just rub it into your skin for 15 min daily and you will slowly see a difference.

Ice Cube: Rub an Ice Cube on the scar for 15 minutes twice daily. I have to warn you though it can be quit painful.

Tea Tree Oil: Apply Tea Tree oil to the skin daily for 30 minutes and it will slowly diminish the scars and blemishes.

Potatoes: Potatoes are excellent for removing scars because they contain minerals like potassium and sulfur which held reduce scars.

The one home remedy that I use the most is using Lemon juice on my face. I find this works best for me and it helps even out skin tone so you have an even glow. All I do is apply lemon Juice to my skin for 15 minutes daily. I have started seeing slight results but the longer I do this I am sure I will see more results.

I hope all you lovelies are having an amazing day no matter where you are.
Love you all

How to stay positive when things are looking bad :)

Hello Beauties :)

I know I haven't written a post in a while but I have been so busy with everything but finally I can sit down and write a post. I normally write on Beauty Products and anything do to with makeup but I wanted to write something a little different today. We all want to look beautiful and we all want to be happy and yes makeup can make you look beautiful but its also about being happy.
Now some people may think this is corny but it is important to stay happy because being stressed and anxious can play a big part in breaking out of your skin, losing weight or picking up weight and all the other Beauty related things.
So here are just a few tips on how to stay positive and happy when things/life is really looking bad.

1. No matter what is happening in your life make sure that your health does not suffer. Your health should be your main priority because if you let your health suffer all those difficult things that are happening in your life can seem even more challenging. The better you feel the easier it will be for you to overcome any challenges you are experiencing.

2. Sometimes we all just need to take a break from being busy, thinking, talking everything. We all just need a few minutes to unwind and kind of process what has all happened. It helps to go into a quit room and just relax, let your muscles relax and your brain, while doing this its good to think about happy positive thoughts so that it puts you in a good frame of mind.

3. A lot of people tend to dwell or get caught up in the situation or challenge they dealing with instead of trying to take action to solve the problem. Worrying is such a big part of us already that we actually need to train ourselves to focus on finding a solution to the problem. Once you have done that you will be able to handle a  lot more and you will feel more confident to handle the situation without doubting yourself.

4. Make sure that you have a great support system. Sometimes we just need someone there to listen to us and give a little advice on how they would solve it or just to give their opinion. Having someone that supports you no matter what always helps because you feel 100% comfortable with that person and you trust their opinion or advice. So find that person and stalk talking ;)

5. A good thing to do is get rid of any negative people or things in your life. Having negativity in your life can only cause you stress and anxiety and in turn it will cause you to be more negative than positive. Once you have gotten rid of those negative people or thing you will feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders and you will feel a lot more positive and happy. You will be more ready and confident to take on any challenge that comes your way.

6. Always remember that things happen for a reason. People come into your life to either be there forever or to teach you something. There is always something to learn from a bad situation and there is always something to smile about.

So ladies and gents this is just a few things to help you stay positive and happy. We all go through those bad time where things look like they are never going to get better but they will!
Like I said everything happens for a reason, that guy you thought was everything may just be there to show you what type of guy you shouldn't go for or that fight you had with a friend may just show you that you as a person need to be more understanding. Things happen to teach us a lesson or something valuable.

So stay positive and I hope this helps.
Lots of Love

Almay TLC Truly Last Color Pressed Powder

Happy Tuesday Beautiful Ladies :)

So my love for Almay products continues today. Since I always mention my Almay Pressed powder in my YouTube Videos I thought I would do a Review on it so you can get my take on it and understand why I love it so much.

I have been using this powder for about a year now and it is a product that I will always use.
This Pressed Powder gives light coverage but somehow manages to cover all redness, dark spots and blemishes. Because it is so light it doesn't end up looking cakey even if you want to apply a little more than you usually would.
It doesn't cause breakouts because it is very light and it doesn't settle into any fine lines in your face. What is great is that it contains good ingredients such as Aloe,Chamomile, Green tea and it also has SPF 12 in it. Almay Pressed Powder also has lemon extracts in it to lighten the skin and any blemishes.

When using Almay Foundation and the Almay Pressed powder you will get a flawless, matte finish which looks natural and fresh.

This product is best applied with a powder brush, I really don't recommend using the sponge because it tends to keep more of the product on the sponge instead of putting it on your face.

Hope this helps ladies
Please go out and give it a try. This is a product that wont disappoint
Much love

Essence BB Cream Beauty Review

Hello Beauties :)

The product I want to talk about today is Essence BB Cream. I actually mentioned it in my latest YouTube Video but I want to give you my take on the product.

Essence BB Cream gives a smooth and radiant complexion when applied. It takes away most redness and doesn't clog your pores or feel very thick on your skin. It feels like a very thin moisturizer which I really like.
This product is fragrance free and it only comes in 3 different shades with SPF 30.

When I first applied this product I was a bit nervous because when it came out of the tube the color looked very dark but once I started applying it with my foundation brush it went on smoothly, evenly and took away most of the redness that I had on my face.

I think the packaging of the product is so cute and very girly which I love because honestly most of us girls go for the pretty and shiny things when it comes to makeup, well at least I do. I like my makeup products to look nice and girly.

The only two things that I did not like about this products was that it made my skin look a bit shiny after a while and in turn I had to use powder to take away the shine. Once I had done that it was perfect and looked natural and flawless which is what I like to achieve when trying new products. The other thing is I think they should not just have 3 shades to chose from. I think they should have about 6 - 8 different shades so that it can fit a persons complexion perfectly

All in all for the great price of this product I would highly recommend it because it really is worth it.

Hello Beauties :)

I went shopping the other day and I wanted to share with you guys the few things that I bought.
I will aslo be posting more information on some of the products because I just gave you a brief overview. Enjoy!

Maringa Body Butter: Maringa Body Butter melts right into the skin. It leaves the skin feeling soft and moisterized. This Body Butter contains Community fair trade sheer butter and it has a beautiful floral smell. This product is perfect for normal to dry skin. You get 24 hours hydration. It obsorbes quickly into the skin and lasts up to 3 days.

Hair Rescue Mask: This is an absolute Beauty must have. This product is oil-enriched. It helps moisterize and repair brittle and damaged hair. You apply this onto you hair while you are in the shower or bath and leave for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes you rinse and brush through with a wide toothed comb and your hair is soft, nourished, moisterized and feeling alot healthier.

Yardley Hardening nail polish: This nail polish id perfect for the ladies that have brittle nails that never want to grow. You apply one coat to your nails and it lasts up to 1 week and then you have to reapply a cout. It hardens your nails and helps them grow stronger without them chipping or breaking. I do reccommend keeping your nails short when applying this so that they can grow out stronger. It is a translicent colour and makes the nails look pretty and shinny and looking healthy.

Essence Powder brush: All i can say about this product is that I am inlove with it. It has a beautiful purple brush, it is extremely soft. It picks up a decent amount of Powder and non falls off. It holds it perfectly and when applied it applies it evenly and not to much to certain parts of the face. This product was ver inexpensive and i highly reccommend it.

Almay Smart Shade Makeup

Hi Ladies :)

The product I want to talk about today is the Almay Smart Shade Makeup. This product is like a foundation but it comes out in a white colour. The amazing thing about this product is that once it is applied it immediatly adjusts to the colour of your skin so no more trying to find your colour in foundation.

I recently bought this product and I love it. It has Grape Seed, Ginseng and a whole bunch of other natural ingrediants which are helpful to sensitive skin. It gives great but light coverage which I absolutley love because I hate having something that is to heavy and thick on my skin.

It requires minimal blending. I spread it throughout my face with my fingertips, set it with a tiny bit of powder and then I am ready to do. It is perfect for humid and hot weather, it doesnt flake or get cakey after a few hours. It has a texture of a moisturizer but has the coverage like a good foundation and it doesnt leave your skin oily or sticky.

I am a big fan of this product and I can say that I will definatley be purchasing it again because it is perfect for my skin and ofcourse because it is an Almay product.

Thanks for watching and I hope this helps

Elizabeths Annes & Purity Baby Shampoo

Hello Pretty Ladies

So I finished my second Youtube Video on my current Beauty Favourites and I actually wanted to give you guys better information about Elizabath Annes Baby Shampoo that I have recently been using as facewash.

I am absolutley obsessed with this Baby shampoo. As I have said so many times in my previous posts, I have very oily and sensitive skin, I always have to moisturize because I find when ever I wash my face it tends to feel so tight but then gets extremely oily after a while.

Because this product is formulated specifically for babies it is very gentle on skin and also soap free so if you get some in your eye while washing your face it doesnt burn. It doesnt irritate skin but instead it leaves the skin soft, moisturized and clean.
I dont have to use as much moisterizer anymore because this baby shampoo is so moisterizing already.

I love the fact that this Shampoo doesnt foam because this makes it more gentle on the skin because with normal facewashes they tend to contain a type of cleaning agent that stips away any oil from your skin, leaving it without its protective layer of oil. You actually need some oil to be left on your skin for moisture. If you stip all the oils from you skin it will cause more breakouts because your skin is then producing more oil than it should to try and moisterize the skin again.

So once I Started using Elizabeths Annes Baby Shampoo I didnt get half as much breakouts and my
skin is feeling soft and moisterized.
I would recommend this product to anyone willing to give it a try.

Please check out my Youtube Video and feel free to leave me a comment and subscribe.

I hope this helps

Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation Review!!!

Hello Lovely Ladies.

The product I would like to talk about today is Rimmel London Lasting finish 25 Hour Foundation.

As I have said in many of my previous posts I have always been a big fan of Almay skin stays clean foundation but I thought I would give another foundation a try since they are no longer making "Almay Skin Stays Clean Foundation".

The Rimmel London 25 hour foundation is fantastic, obviously it does not last for 25 hours but it does last up to about 8 - 10 hours and the coverage is great, I would say it give a medium to full coverage and once the foundation has dried it gives a matte look which is perfect for people with oily skin. The foundation is very thick which I like as well because you apply a little and it goes a long way. It spreads easily throughout your whole face. It aslo lasts in humidity and heat which is perfect for those boiling hot summer day.

When the foundation is applied it feels very light and airy. I love the fact that it has a pump to pump out the foundation instead of squeezing a tube, this helps to use less foundation and not waist and it has a little fragrance which I really enjoy.

I have always been hesitant to try other foudnations because Almay has always been such an amazing product but all I can say is that I love this product and I will definatley be buying it again.

Hope this helps
xoxo

8 Beauty Items you should never run out of.

Hello Ladies :)

Well all run out of Beauty products but there are 8 items that I make sure I always top up on if they are running low. These are the products and items that I literally use every single day and always make sure that I have in my handbag.

1. Ear Buds: These can be used for literally anything, from removing makeup, smudged eyeliner or it can be used to clean up your nails once you have painted them.

2. Vaseline: This product I use every day. It can be used to moisterize your lips, rub on your nails for moisture or you can apply it to your eyelids for a glowing look.

3. Black Mascara: Mascara is a must. It just glams up your face, or you can use it to darken your eyebrows of you dont have a brow pencil near by. Please make sure that you discard your mascara after 3 months because if you keep it and use it after it has started smelling and clumping you can get an eye infection due to the bacteria buildup.

4. A vail of perfume: Always keep a small bottle of perfume in your handbag. A spritz of perfume after a day at work will freshen you up if you are going out straight after work. I personally think every woman should have a perfume that compliments her. To me it acts like your signature smell. There is nothing more stunning than a girl that smells classy and beautiful.

5. Wet Wipes: Wet Wipes are so handy when you are in a rush and wanting to take your makeup off to reapply it again. They are perfect for those nights when you get home really late and you dont feel like washing your face, you can just wipe away your makeup, apply moisterizer and go to bed. Wet wipes have an expiry date so please use before they go off.

6. Saftey Pins: These are a must have, just incase your bra snaps, broken jewellery or any kind of emergency. I always keep different sizes in all my handbags because I am forever using different handbags for different occasions. Always be prepared for anything that could happen.

7. Sunblock: If you have those days where you do something you didnt plan on doing like going to the beach in the middle of the day or going for a walk on your lunch break then make sure you always have sunscreen in your hand bag. You dont want to get sunburnt, suffer from skin discolouration or anything harmful that the sun can do to your skin.

8. Baby Powder: Baby Powder has so many uses. It can be used to sooth sunburn, razor burn and it can be used as a dry shampoo. The great thing about Baby Powder is that it never expires so you can stock up without worrying about it expiring.

Be prepared ladies, you never know what life can through at us.
Hope this helps

Exfoliating Tips for smooth and soft skin.

Hello Beautiful ladies :)

Exfoliating is a very important part of a persons regime not only for your face but also for your body.

There are many benefits from exfoliating like getting rid of dead, dull and flaky skin cells which will allow new skin cells to surface. This will give your skin a stunning glow but it also allows the products you use to be better absorbed into your skin and work to their full potential.
Exfoliating helps fight damage done by the sun and minimise fine lines and blemishes.

I would recommend choosing a scrub that has round beeds instead of the rough kernels because those can harm your skin because they are to rough. You want to find a scrub that works perfectly for your skin. I perfer using fruity type of exfoliater because when they are used, they naturally dissolve dead skin cells without harming or aggravating your skin.

When you exfoliate your body, you want to use coarser scrubs. This will help with removing rough skin and in-grown hairs. It will also give your skin a soft, smooth feel. I recommend moisterizing after you exfoliate just to make sure your body has gotten that extra nourishment. Alot of people tend to forget about their knees, ankles and elbows so you need to make sure you give those areas extra attention.

Alot of people never know when to exfoliate their skin. Some do it every day, others exfoliate once a week but I would recommend exfoliating twice a week. This will give your skin time to breath and repair itself.

I use Garnier Light exfoliating scrub because I have sensitive skin and this product works perfectly for me. Its gentle but it also does the job. I would recommend this product for anyone that is willing to give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

My Current Skin Care Favourites :)

Hello Pretty Ladies :)

Since my previous post was about skin care I thought I would share with you some of my favourite skin care products that I use on a daily basis.

In the morning and evenings I wash my face with Garnier Even and Matte face wash. This product works perfectly for me because I have very sensitive skin. As I have said in previous posts I had skin problems in High School and I was left with minor scars. This face wash contains extracts of lemon which helps lighten any scars or blemishes.

After I have washed my face I use Garnier Even and Matte Toner. Each time I use it, it makes my skin feel softer and it helps with lightening my minor scaring.

After I have used toner I apply Nivea Beauty Radiant Boosting Moisturizer. I absolutley love this product. Its perfect for my skin, it rubs in really well and it gives my skin a great boost. I have been using this product for about a month now and I have noticed that I actually use less foundation because it acts like a primer. It basically livens up dull looking skin.

I apply a Honey Face Mask once a week, it is suitable for any skin type. I apply the raw honey all over my face and leave it on for about 10 - 15 minutes. I remove it with warm water and then apply moisturizer. It acts as an anti-bacterial and Anti-fungal agent which helps speed up the healing process of acne. It soaks up impurities and helps detoxify your skin. It naturally cleans your skin and leaves it super soft.

Enjoy Ladies :)

6 Skin Tips for Girls in their 20s

Hello Beautiful Ladies :)

I thought I would give you a few tips for your skin if you are in your 20s because a lot of girls think that their skin is pretty great right now. They just get a mild breakout here and there but you need to also think about the damage day to day life can do to your skin. It is never to soon to start taking care of your skin and preventing furture problems.

1. Always cleanse your face in the morning. This will remove any dirt and oil on your skin and prevent any breakouts. Make sure that you use a gentle cleanser that wont be to harsh on your skin.

2. Invest in a good eye cream. Eyes tend to show the first signs of aging so I would recommend using an eye cream with caffeine in it to prevent morning puffiness. Also look for a product with antioxidants in it that slow down aging.

3. Make sure you use a moisterzier with SPF in to.This is very important because the sun can really damage your skin as well as cause age spots. Invest in a good moisterzier with a decent amount of SPF in it.

4. Always make sure that you remove your makeup up night, no excuses. Makeup can clog your pores and lead to acne break outs.

5. Cleanse at night. You skin does most if its repair work at night so it is very important to make sure your skin is 100% clean.

6. Exfoliate a few times a week. This will get ride of any dead skin cells and will give your skin a soft feeling and glowing look.

Hope this helps
Enjoy

Makeup Tip #4 - How to do your Makeup Flawlessly

Hi Lovely Ladies :)

This is how you can do your makeup flawlessly.

1. First wash your face. Washing your face will make your skin look clean and it will be easier to apply your foundation.

2. Always moisturize your skin. Make sure that you pick a moisturizer that fits your skin type.

3. Add a foundation primer. Primers are used to set makeup so that they last longer and I personally recommend them because it just helps keep your makeup in place for most of the day.

4. Choose your foundation. Spread the foundation all over your face and blend it in. Remember that foundation is meant to even out your skin tone so dont pluck it on.This is a product I personally think you should spend money on. You want a foundation that is the perfect shade for you.

5. Apply concealer to any pimples, redness or blemishes. Make sure that you apply concealer to the inner conrners of your eyes because they are normally darker than the rest of your eye. One thing to remember about concealer is never rub it in. Dab it in.

6. To give yourself a matte look after applying foundation and concealer set it with a loose powder.

7. Now to apply your bronzer or blush. Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks. Apply bronzer to you forehead, nose and cheeks. This will give your face an even bronzed look. Make sure that you choose a bronzer that is the perfect shade for your skin because you do not want to look like a clown.

8. Apply your eye makeup.  Apply an eye shadow primer to your eye lids so that your eye shadow can last throughout the whole day. Curl your lashes with a eyelash curler. This will give your lashes more volume when you apply mascara. Apply your eyeliner the way you like it. Rememeber that eyeliner looks great when used in many different ways so feel free to experiment with this.

9. Apply lip balm to your lips to moisturize them. If you like you can apply a lip liner and then a lipstick the same colour as you lipliner. This will make your lips look larger and soft.

Tip:Apply eye shadow before applying eyeliner.

Hope this helps
Enjoy :)

5 more Beauty Tips that I Love :)

Hi Pretty Ladies :)

I wanted to share 5 more of my favourite Beauty Tips with you.

1.No more Makeup Sponges: Yes sponges help you apply your foundation but they soak up more foundation that what ends up on your face. so inturn you have to keep buying new sponges and foundation. Rather start using a Foundation brush. It uses less foundation and it helps with more even and precise application than a sponge.

2. Use old mascara wands: Dont discard your old Mascara wands, rather clean them and use them as a brow brush instead.

3. Avoid chipped nail polish: There is nothing worse than a girl having chipped nails polish. You either have nail polish on or you dont. You may think no one will notice but trust me someone will notice.

4. Remove your nail polish: One thing I always run out of is Nail Polish remover so if you really need to remove chipped nail polish just apply a top coat to your nail polish and quickly remove it with a cotton bud.

5. Perfume: Do not douse yourself with perfume. Just because you cannot smell it on yourself does not mean other cannot smell it on you. Just spray or dab perfume to selected areas like, your throat, wrists and behind your earlobes and you ready to go.

Hope you enjoy Ladies :)

What is the shelf life of your Makeup?

Hi Lovely Ladies :)

We all have that makeup that we never use but for some reason we still keep them in our draws thinking that we will need them one day but we never do actually use them.
This is just a quick guide on the shelf life of just some Beauty Products.

1. Concealer: Last up to 12 Months.

2. Powder: Last up to 2 years.

3. Pencil Eyeliner: Pencil eyeliner needs to be sharpened reguarly and it can last up to 3 years.

4. Eyeshadow: This product can last up to 3 years. Some makeup artists actually use eyeshadow as a eyeliner. You will need a flat eyeliner brush, make the brush a little damp and dip it in dark eyeshadow and wiggle the brush onto your lash line like you are applying normal eyeliner.

5. Makeup Brushes: Wash your makeup brushes every 2 - 3 months.

6. Makeup sponges: Wash your sponges weekly and discard them every month.

7. Lip Liner: Lasts up to 3 years. I personally perfer the pencil lip liner instead of the roll up lip liner because they tend to break easily while you are applying it.

8.Mascara: This product expires the fastest. It only last up to 4 months and then you need to replace it.

9. Nail Polish: This product last up to 12 months depending on the quality.

10. Lipstick: Some people say it lasts up to 2 years and others say 4 years but one great tip is if you put your lipstick in a refrigerater, it will last longer.

Hope this helps ladies :)
Xoxo

5 Beauty Tips that I Love :)

Hi Ladies :)

I have quit a few beauty tricks that I love but I just picked 5 for now to share with all you stunning ladies.

1. Shave with conditioner: If you have run out of shaving cream, the next best thing is conditioner. Apply a lot of conditioner to your legs instead of soap. The conditioner will soften the hair on your legs and make it easier for you to shave and it will leave your skin feeling soft and silky.

2. Know your Foundation Shade: When trying to find the perfect foundation shade for your skin, test it on your jaw line and make sure that you are standing in natural light. Standing in natural light will ensure that you choose a foundation shade that isnt different to your neck.

3.Tweezing: Before tweezing your eyebrows, make sure that you soften the skin with a cotton wool ball soaked in warm water. When you tweeze make sure you tweeze the hairs in the direction they are growing.

4.Do not pump your mascara: This is a mistake I made when I was younger. Never pump your mascara (moving the mascara wand up and down really fast) This allows air to enter the tube and dries out your mascara.

5:Clean your Makeup Brushes: Always make sure that you clean your Makeup Brushes to avoid a build up of makeup and bacteria. You can either use bush cleaner or you can use shampoo and conditioner to wash your burshes. If your brushes are clean, this will ensure that you get a even and smooth application each time.

I hope you enjoy ladies

Quick and Easy Nail Wraps - No more nail polish :)

Hello Lovely Ladies :)

I went shopping this weekend and while I was browsing in the Makeup section I came across "Nail Wraps". They are these neat new stickers thats you stick on your finger nails and they look like you have painted your own nails.

These Nail wraps are a new way to design your nails without using nail polish. They can last up tp 2 weeks. They are safe to use and they dont damage your nails like other nail enhancements.
These nail wraps also help protect your nails if you are prone to chipping, falking and breaking. They can be applied to broken or damaged nails to prevent further damage.

The nail wraps come in a bunch of great designs such as metallic or even animal print. They are perfect for those days where you dont feel like painting your nails but want quick and easy stunning nails...

I personally love these new nail wraps because I hardly ever have time to paint my nails but now it literally takes me 10 minutes to put on these nail wraps in different designs and im ready to go with stunning, funky looking nails.

Try them out ladies, you wont be disappointed :)

How to remove your Makeup

Hi Everyone :)

So I have noticed that a lot of people apply Makeup for a night out and then when they get home they literally rub their faces raw trying to get the makeup off so I thought I would give you some tips on how to remove makeup properly without damanging your skin.

1. Always wash your face before bed, especially if you have makeup on. Washing your face before bed and applying a boosting moisterizer so that you can wake up with glowing, plumb and fresh skin.

2. Many people ask if they should use toner after washing their face. Personally I would use toner because I have had problem skin, so I find that if I dont use toner after washing my face I tend to break out more but ofcourse this is optional, you can just wash your face and apply a moisterizer.

3. Never use Baby Wipes to clear your skin. I really dont know why people use baby wipes because they do not get the job done. Rather stick to an actual cleanser.

4. People with dry skin can use a cleanser as well as a good moisterizer after washing their face. If you have oily skin I would recommend using a foaming cleanser because it will get deap into your pores and really clean your skin.

5. Removing Mascara must be one of the hardest things to remove, well for me atleast. What I have learnt to do is I will apply makeup remover to a cosmetic cotton pad and place it on my eye. I leave the pad there for about 15 seconds so that the makeup remover can start working on the mascara and then I will gently wipe my mascara away. I find this way the easiest and less harmful.

Hope this helps for all the ladies struggling to remove their makeup after a night out.
:)

Almay Skin Stays Clean Foundation Review

Hi Everyone :)

The product I want to talk about today is the Foundation that I have been using for a while now which is "Almay skin stays clean".

I have very oily skin and a problem I always had was every foundation I tried would leave my skin oily and feeling clogged. I would wash my makeup off but i would still wake up in the morning with breakouts.

So I was looking for a foundation that was oil free and would not harm my skin or cause break outs.

I first came across Almay Skin Stays Clean Foundation when I went into clicks pharmacy and it was on sale. I had just ran out of foundation and I needed to get a new foundation ASAP.

I went home and tried the foundation that night and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a liquid foundation and I only used a little and it spread throughout my whole face. It gave my face a natural fresh appearance. It didnt cause breakouts and it didnt leave my face feeling oily or clogged.. It didnt crease or seep into fine lines.

It stayed on for about 5 - 6 hours but I always apply translucent powder which keeps my makeup on and looking fresh for longer.

This Foundation has salacylic acid in it that helps exfolliate and clear up problem skin which is just what I needed since I did have problem skin in high school and still get an occasional break out here and there.

I have heard that this foundation is being discontinued but I have still been able to buy it in my clicks stores.

This foundation is "AMAZING" and i would recommend it to anyone that is willing to give it a try.

Makeup Tip #3 - How to highlight and contour your face

Hi Everyone :)

This is how you can highlight and contour your face.

1. Apply your foundation as normal using your foundation tool of choice. This will give your face a light coverage.

2.Apply a lighter foundation thats a shade or two lighter than your current foundation. There must be a noticeable different to your current foundation. Use a sponge to apply the lighter foundation to the centre of your forehead. Also apply the lighter foundation to the centre of your nose and the dip right above your lips.

3.Apply a small amount of foundation to the outer edges of your nose, underneath the eye and the edges of your nose.

4.Apply a small amount of foundation to your chin and under both arches of your eyebrows.

5.Always use a bronzer for your contour colour but if you are light skinned, you can use a powder that is about two shades darker than your actual skin colour..

6. Dip your brush in your contouring colour and apply that to the outer edges of your chin.

7.For contouring of the nose apply a thin line of your contouring colour to the top of your nose right down to the tip of your nose(Repeat on opposite side)

8. To conotour your cheek bones, contour by starting at the cheekbone around the middle of your eye and follow all the way up towards your ear.

9. Highlighting just under your cheekbone, forehead and nose bridge.

10. Once you have done your contouring and highlighting make sure that you blend the lines into your current foundation colour so it looks natural.

Tip:Always remember to highlight the inner sections of you face such as under your eyes, the centre of your nose and forehead. These parts are normally darker and make your face look puffy, tired and uneven. By highlighting them it will make your face look brighter, awake and fuller.

Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base

Hi Everyone :)

So the product I want to talk about today is "Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base". I went into Clicks Pharmacy to actually buy a new foundation but then I saw the Essence Eyeshadow Base on sale.
One problem I always have with my eyeshadow is that it never stayed on longer than about 3 hours, so I decided to buy this product and give it a try.

All I can say is that I am so happy with it. It makes your eyeshadow stand out and lasts up to 8 hours which for me is perfect.

This Eyeshadow base acts as a primer for your eyelid and it gives you a blank canvas before applying your eyeshadows. You only need to apply a little for it to spread thoughout your whole eyelid.
The wand allows quick and easy application and it makes your eyeshadows appear more colour intensive which is perfect for those nights out that you want bold makeup.

This product can also be used as a primer for eyeshadow or a concealer for any dark circles around your eyes.

This product is affordable and I will definatly be buying it again.
I would recommend this product to anyone that is willing to give it a try.

Makeup Tip #2 - How to make your eyes appear larger.

Hi Everyone :)

This is how you can make your eyes appear larger with makeup.

1. Always make sure that your eyebrows are shaped properly(shaping your eyebrows really does give your face a brighter look)
 2. One thing I always do is apply a concealer to my eyelid for a clean and fresh look.

3. It is always better to apply a light eyeshadow to your eyelid rather than a dark eyeshadow. Having a lighter eye shadow on your eyelid will make your eyes look brighter as well as more open.

4. While applying a light colour to your eyelid also highlight around your tear duck this will open your eye and make it appear brighter.

5. Take one shade darker than the colour you applied to your eyelid. Apply the darker colour you chose to the crease of your eye.(If you do this, it will create dimension to your eye)

6. Apply a light stroke of eyeliner. You do not want to apply the eye liner dark because this will make your eye look heavy and tired.

7. Curl your lashes before applying mascara because this will create a lifting effect to tired and droopy eyes and you will get a more natural curl.

8. Apply your Mascara. When applying mascara take the tip of the mascara wand and apply it directly to the end of your lashes in an upward direction.

9. Apply a light coat of mascara to your bottom lashes(This will make your bottom lashes more visible and inturn your eye will appear larger)

10. This is optional, but I personally love doubling up on Mascara because it makes your eye lashes longer and thicker.

What is BB Cream???

The first time I saw BB cream was in an AVON Magazine. I thought it was a foundation. I was a bit scared to buy it just incase i didnt like it. So i looked it up to see different reviews on BB Creams.
After reading nothing but good reviews I finally decided to give it a try.

BB stands for 'Blemish Balm or 'Blemish Base'. This cream to me is basically a multi-fuction cream. This cream will give you a great base for makeup just like a primer, evens out your complexion, covers minor imperfections and redness just like a concealer.

I started using the BB cream that I ordered immediatly. As I have said in my previous post that I had problematic skin in High School so I was left with minor scars so when I use the BB cream it covers my minor scars, moisterizes my skin and has SPF agents in it.

This product will always be in my makeup collection. It does the job for literally 7 other products. its so light weight and easy to apply.

I would recommend the AVON BB Cream to anyone that is willing to give it a try.
You will not be dissappointed :)

Makeup Tip #1 - How to apply foundation

Hi Everyone :)

So I have noticed that a lot of people have problems with applying foundation. Some people apply to little, others apply to much or some people dont apply it evenly. So here is how to apply foundation perfectly:

1. Always start with a clean face and clean hands.

2 Apply a moisterizer that is perfect for your skin. Most foundations go on more smoothly and evenly when your skin his well-hydrated and moisterized. I personally use foundation primer because it creates a smooth surface for when you apply your foundation.

3. Apply concealer to your dark under eye circles, pimples or scars with your concealer(one thing to always remember is to pat the concealer, never rub the concealer into your skin)

4. Now to apply foundation. I always use a foundation brush to apply my foundation because it soaks up less foundation and its also easier to blend your foundation. If you perfer using a spunge or your hand that will work as well. Apply dots of foundation on your chin, cheeks, forehead and the tip of your nose.

5. Now using your foundation brush or whatever tool you perfer blend the dots together.

6.Make sure you spread the foundation right down to your neck(I personally think there is nothing worse that your face being a different colour to yout neck)

7. To get a Matte look after applying your foundation set it with a loose powder immediatly after application.

Essence Fix & Matte Translucent Loose Powder

I had never heard of Translucent Powder but when I went into a Clicks store and saw Essence Fix and Matte Translucent Loose Powder on sale I bought it to try it.When I got home I immediatly googled how Translucent Powder helps with your Makeup and when to apply it.
.
Translucent Powder is meant to keep your make up in place, intaked and looking fresh for most of the day. In all honesty I didnt believe that a simple powder could hold your make up together for most of the day because makeup is known to fade as the day goes on but i was willing to try it out.

In the morning I got up as I usually do for work. I applied my foundation and then I applied a little bit of the Translucent powder all over my face and then applied the rest of my makeup and just to be sure I applied a little more of the Translucent Powder on my face again once I had applied all my makeup, even on my eye lids where I had applied light eye shadow. I went to work as normal. when I got home I checked my makeup and it was still perfectly intaked. The one problem I always had was my Foundation would fade during the day as well as my Eye shadow. If I had plans for that evening I would have to do touch ups but ever since I started using the Essence Fix and Matte Translucent Loose Powder I never have to worry about fixing my makeup or reapplying it.

The white powder is light weight, has no smell and you only need to apply a small amount and then you ready to go for the whole day.
I would personally reccommend this product to anyone that is willing to try it. Its affordable and it does the job.
